1906 - Ed Austin starts hauling freight in Lynden, WA with a team of horses and an iron-wheeled wagon. He names the company Lynden Transfer.
1940 - Ed Austin buys his first semi rig and hires Henry Jansen as a driver for Lynden Transfer.
1954 - Lynden Transfer starts Alcan Highway service from Seattle to Alaska.
1982 - The company formally reorganizes with Lynden Incorporated as the parent company.
2004 - Lynden celebrates the 50th anniversary of Alcan Highway service.
