Mark Pliska

Mark has been with Alaska West Express since March 2024, serving as a HSSE Specialist, Asset Reliability Specialist, Apprenticeship Coordinator, and Instructor. He has more than 30 years of experience in operations and maintenance across the oil and gas, mining, and transportation industries. Mark is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and SP001 Tank Inspector. His emergency response background includes work as an industrial firefighter and emergency medical technician. Currently, he is a Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Confined Space Rescue Technician, and a member of the Fairbanks North Star Borough Hazardous Materials Response Team.
