This 8-hour class is designed to satisfy 29 CFR 1910.120 annual refresher training requirement for personnel trained for emergency response to hazardous materials incidents and personnel who perform waste operations. This class reviews the basic requirements and current regulations and techniques associated with emergency response to hazardous materials incidents. Through the use of real-world scenarios and hands-on exercises.

Target Audience: All personnel assigned to hazardous materials response and waste operations are required to attend yearly refresher training.

The WFR / WEMT refresher is required to maintain certification as a WFR / WEMT. The WFR / WEMT refresher is a 16- to 24-hour course that provides the wilderness medical professional with medical updates and changes in medical protocol or best practices. The refresher builds on the WFR / WEMT class by expanding information and providing alternate methods of treatment. Students shall receive a new 2-year certification card in WFR or WEMT. Student should be prepared to be outdoors regardless of weather conditions.

This 8-hour course is designed to teach adults basic first aid, and focuses on victim assessment, shock, bleeding, wounds, and other basic injuries. We discuss the Good Samaritan Law, Standards of Care, and the Right to Refuse Care.

This course is also designed to teach employees basic CPR when confronted by no heartbeat. We also teach abdominal thrusts for obstructed airways, such as choking on food. We discuss the Good Samaritan Law, Standards of Care and Right to Refuse Care. The class focuses on victim assessment, basic life support, and shock. Approximately 500,000 people die from heart attacks, a percentage could be saved with CPR.

Target Audience: OSHA recommends, foreman, supervisors, and step-ups who are available to render basic life support.
