The table shown on this web page provides the percentage fuel surcharge applicable to shipments transported in the lanes shown below:
To determine the current fuel surcharge follow the steps below:
Step 1: Determine the current U.S. average weekly retail on-highway diesel price per gallon from the Energy Information Administration web site* (http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/wohdp/diesel.asp)
Step 2: Find the appropriate price per gallon in the left hand column of the table below and apply the corresponding percentage in the right column as the applicable fuel surcharge. Tables revised April 27, 2009.
*Note: The prices per gallon on the EIA web site are updated each Monday. Each Monday's EIA average price will determine the applicable fuel surcharge for the week beginning on that date and ending the following Sunday. Lynden Transport will apply the fuel surcharge based on the date each shipment is first picked up or received by Lynden Transport. |
