Project Details: The Kipnuk Airport Relocation - Phase II project involved the construction of a new airport with embankment surfacing for the runway (60-foot by 3200-foot runway and 120-foot by 3680-foot runway safety area), taxiway and apron. Additional work included a new runway and taxiway lighting system, two snow removal equipment buildings and navigational aids and drainage improvements.
