Status: Complete

Project Details: The project consisted of expanding the primary runway safety area from a width of 300 feet to 500 feet along its entire 8,400-foot length. A secondary runway embankment was constructed 700 feet to the east with a 4,600-foot by 150-foot runway safety area. Two material sites were developed on airport property. Over 1,000,000 cubic yards of sandy-silt material was excavated and hauled from these two sources.
