Seattle Terminal Tour
Alaska Marine Lines Seattle terminal is the southern terminus of the system. The Seattle terminal is a high production facility with a compact and highly efficient design. The facility is split into two parts. The marine facility is located between the east side of West Marginal Way SW and the Duwamish River. The container stuffing, customer service and general offices are located on the west side West Marginal Way SW. |

This
is a view of the western side of the terminal. In this area of the
facility we have customer service, general offices and a container
freight station where we handle all of the less than container load shipments that move in closed
containers.
The container loading area has 45 doors, plus a ground area for loading containers and consolidations. The entire area is connected to our radio frequency network which enables real time shipment updates to our data bases and internet tracking.
